An investigation into the crash of DHL’s Boeing 737 cargo aircraft, registered EC-KLR, operating flight #SWT1145 from Leipzig to Vilnius on November 25, 2024, has highlighted suspected pilot error.
The Lithuanian Prosecutor General’s Office stated that a hydraulic failure disabling the flap system, combined with possible pilot mismanagement, contributed to the accident. One person was killed, three others were injured, and a house was damaged. An investigation has been launched against the Spanish pilot.
